Phil A. Taylor is a Stoneham-based attorney representing clients from the Greater Boston and Northshore communities. He is a lifetime resident of Massachusetts and dedicated to serving his local community.
Mr. Taylor attended the Shawsheen Valley Vocational Technical High School. From there he went on to the University of Massachusetts, Boston and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management, with a concentration in finance. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law in Boston.
During law school, Mr. Taylor received the New England School of Law Service Award and was honored as a New England Scholar. He also served as the Managing Business Editor on the executive board of the New England Journal of Criminal and Civil Confinement. While with the Journal he organized its 2003 symposium: Offender Sentencing and Reentry: Changing Policies for Times of Budget Restraint.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Taylor served as an Associate Attorney in the law firms of Cohn & Dussi, LLC, Harris & Dial, P.C., and Williams & Mahoney, LLC. He has worked on both sides of the table, representing individuals and corporate clients, both large and small. He combines rigorous legal training with a personal philosophy of compassion, giving clients the legal representation and personal attention they require and deserve.
Mr. Taylor is admitted to practice before the Massachusetts State Courts as well as the Federal District Court for Massachusetts, including the Bankruptcy Court. He is a former member of the Town of Groveland’s Zoning Board of Appeals and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
